Lesson Planning Questions

Q: Can I use my existing paper based lesson plans?

A: TheLessonPlanBook system includes a word processor like editor so that you can easily copy and paste in your existing lessons from Word or other applications.  Some formatting from Word is not compatible with all web browsers so the editor includes Paste From Word and Paste As Text features to help you copy in your lesson plans.  Please note that even with the Paste From Word feature, all content from Word may not be compatible with your web browser.

Q: What if I want to teach the lesson plan again after the day I originally scheduled it?

A: Through the lesson scheduling calendar, you can schedule your lessons to be taught on multiple days throughout the year for the same or different classes.

Q: What are lesson plan templates?

A: Templates are the lesson plan forms you choose when you first create a lesson plan.  You can pick from a simple lesson plan format to a more detailed format. Once you sign up for your TheLessonPlanBook account, you can preview the two templates and choose which template is best for your lesson planning.
